Steps to make Watermelon Charu:
  1. Scoop the watermelon and along with sliced beetroot, grind it to make a fine paste and then strain it like juice.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai, add curry leaves, panch foran, green chillis and chopped garlic, cook for one minute.
  3. Then add heartshaped watermelon pieces.
  4. Then add dry mango, add coriander leaves, mint leaves, pumpkin seeds, melon seeds then pour the watermelon-beetroot juice into the kadai and add salt to taste, cover it and cook for 10 mins.
  5. Serve hot with asparagus rice.
