  1. Wash and clean diced Potatoes and bottle gourd. Now take a cooker on medium flame. Add oil, mustard seeds. Let it crackle, add asafoetida, turmeric powder.
  2. Now add Potatoes and bottle gourd, Chopped tomato, red chilli powder, sabji masala.
  3. Mix it well. Add salt and water just 2 tbsp.
  4. Close the cooker lid and cook till 3 whistles. Switch off the flame, wait for the cooker to cool down. Open the cooker, Sabji is ready to serve. If you want, sprinkle some Chopped coriander. And serve with roti or rice. I serve with fulka roti and sweet mango pickle.

This Bottle gourd Sabzi is very easy to make, quick and simple sabzi with minimal ingredients required, however tastes divine. Many people dislike or ignore this vegetable however try this version, it turns out totally scrumptious. Boil the chopped dudhi (lauki) in a water till soft.
